Spring Blossoms
Today's image literally lay at my feet when I opened the curtains this morning. A tui had died overnight and lay at our patio doors, there was no sign of it hitting the window or frankly any other reason it had died. Tomorrow it will be taken to Massey for study, but for tonight it rests in our fridge carefully wrapped and stored according to Cleland's instructions. This has led to a few bad jokes today, like "where's the Tui, he's just chilling" or in the case of someone asking for a beer... "Oh ok, there's a Tui in the fridge". Before we wrapped it up, Kelly and Cleland suggested it would make some unique photos... This one shows just how many colours they have in their feathers Thanks Cleland for your help with all this, it would have been a sad waste to just bury it or worse still a cat find it
