Aviation
While I was growing up in Hawkes Bay, my dad loved taking me to the air shows at the local airport. One of my earliest memories at an airshow was hearing my dad say to me look behind me, on the radio he could hear the air traffic controller and knew where to look. What was coming you might be wondering... the RNZAF display team in their A4 Skyhawks, trying to catch the crowd unaware.
From that moment I was hooked. I have been to many air shows since and through the kind advice of others, my skills have developed. Along with the skills has come a number of friendships and great experiences.
Experiences like having the opportunity to see the American F16's arriving in NZ, or seeing the C17's help support the people fighting the fires in Australia early in 2020 (when we thought 2020 was weird enough). My thanks to all the people who have helped me on this journey, I look forward to catching up with you all again.
