If I waited, listened, avoided the momentary feelings that were controlled by emotion. Remembered what I had learnt, the history and the new language I was starting to see, I realised that how we see things can be transformed. Rather than following the gusts, and being fooled by the flags constant changing of direction… I could see things through a longer exposure and see the direction of the overall wind… see where it was pointing.
